About
Badvril is a band that thrives on the tension between small-town isolation and the frenetic energy of city life. Originally from the backwoods of Washington, Badvril now calls San Francisco home. The contrast between these two worlds is central to their chaotic, narcotic grunge sound and visually arresting art. Led by Becket Schroeder and closely accompanied by Tessa Piccillo, the duo brings their personal experiences together to create the narrative that defines the Badvril identity.
"In Heaven" by Badvril
Badvril’s debut album In Heaven didn’t premiere at a trendy club or online drop—it was first played for inmates at Washington State Penitentiary. A bold introduction that speaks volumes about what Badvril stands for: unfiltered honesty, defiance of convention, and a deep connection to the overlooked and unheard.
In Heaven is a raw, unflinching exploration of life growing up in a rural, isolated world. Each track digs into a lived experience—no gloss, no avoidance. Addiction, grief, recklessness, sobriety, and unexpected glimpses of hope all collide in a landscape that’s both stark and strangely beautiful. When the truth cuts too close, Badvril lets the guitars scream, blur, and swell—masking pain with distortion, melody, and noise.
